but i dont NEED it because i HAVE callout. They also tried to rip me for the thursday callout saying I didnt have the pto to cover it. There’s literally no other point in time. The only week they could possibly mean is the week i went on the covid leave and I was the one who kept trying to get a hold of them for a schedule. When I went in for work on thursday they accused me of just not coming into work for a week when I had been given a schedule. I have the call out, it would be excused but i cant ACTUALLY use it.
Last week i called out on thursday, but again I can not psychically actually use my call out because there’s nothing ON schedule for me. i was working the only schedule i had been told ive been working part time hours for 6 months so WHY would i just assume i should suddenly be on 40hrs when no one told me so?Ģ.

I was told by personal to work mon/tues/thurs and then she went on vacation and not a single manager gave me a different schedule so thats what i was working.Ī week or so ago a team lead tried to hop my ass in front of people to tell me i was supposed to be working 5 days a week because thats what mod works.ġ. So for this entire last month I’ve been working off schedule. the manager of personal tried talking to them repeatedly, it still never reactivated me. I went to work the first day, asked what i should do, and was told by personal to call sedgewick and figure out why i was deactivated. because im not on then schedule so theres nothing to call out~ I finally got a schedule and I returned to work like normal.įF like a month later and the system that does LOAs randomly deactivated me again which pulled me from all schedules and means i cant be put on one nor can i use things like callouts if I have them. And then had to keep calling them back to try and get a schedule.īecause the last time I was on a leave I was told i wasnt allowed to work off schedule. I got tested, waited for my results and contacted Walmart. I went on a covid leave because i came into contact with someone who had it and walmart automatically pushes you onto a leave. So basically this is what happened with Walmart firing me. I’ve gone from full time to 24hrs a week its literally sliced my funds in half. Walmart has turned around and silenced everyone’s hours if you called out at all during the pandemic (even if for being sick or having family die like I did 🤷♀️) Its embarrassing to even have to do this but for the first time in the 12+ years I’ve lived on my own idk how I’m going to manage to pay all my bills over the next 2months.
